If there were only one word to describe Tami Alexander it would be passionate.
She is passionate about her daughter, Candice, a beautiful twenty-one year-old pursuing a Criminal Justice Career at Cal-State San Bernardino.
She is also passionate about Tabecca Bay, a thriving corporate only gift basket company in Riverside, California that started four years ago with less than $300 and now has annual sales of nearly a quarter million. Already named National Organizations of Woman Business Owners (NOWBO), Woman of the year 2002, Tamra serves as President of the Gift Basket Professional Network.
She is passionate about education where she recently received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Public Relations and plans to begin the Master's program Fall of 2003.
Finally, she is passionate about God who has taken her on this incredible journey from radio dispatcher with the California Highway Patrol to morning personality with 89.7 KSGN teaching her about control, abundance, obedience, reliance and relationship knowing that nothing could be accomplished without Him.
New to the 89.7 KSGN radio staff, Tami is enjoying a wonderful ministry serving God through the airwaves providing traffic, weather and inspiration to her listeners.
Her goal, in additional to continuing to build her gift basket business, is to work in the area of philanthropic fundraising as a consultant. Already Tami has produced several celebrity golf tournaments, a comedy benefit, and several one-of-a-kind events to raise funds for underrepresented children through worthwhile charities.
Wherever the road leads her, Tami is committed to serving God and continuing to build a relationship with The Lord. The road is not always straight, but sure and God has promised, that in all things, He shall direct our path.
